Banana Bread Overnight Oats

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 mashed banana (can save some for topping)
  • 1 cup milk of choice (whole, almond, cashew, etc.)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp pecans (optional - for topping)
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter (optional - for topping)


  1. Add a ripe banana to a medium mason jar or tupperware bowl. Mash banana with a fork until fully mashed. Add oats. Mix together.

  2. Add cinnamon and mix.

  3. Add milk of your choice along with honey and vanilla extract Stir together or put lid on mason jar and shake it up. Make sure it's all fully combined!

  4. Place in fridge overnight. Enjoy the next morning. Top with additional banana, pecans or peanut butter. Enjoy! 

Recipe Notes

In a rush? These oats usually will set within one hour in the fridge if you don't have time to leave them overnight. Enjoy!

Honey substitutes: maple syrup, brown sugar, agave syrup, cane sugar. 

Topping Options: pecans, walnuts, granola, peanut butter, any nut butter, extra cinnamon
