Coconut Hot Chocolate

This Creamy Coconut Hot Chocolate is thick, rich and so creamy! It has a striking cocoa flavor and is only slightly sweet. Don’t forget the mini marshmallows!

  • 1 13.5 oz. can of full fat coconut milk
  • 1-2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (depending on how how cocoa-y you want it)
  • 2-3 tbsp white granulated sugar (or coconut sugar)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • mini marshmallows (for garnish)


  1. In a medium pot on medium heat, add your can of coconut milk. If it seperated in the can, whisk until it's all combined (about 1-2 minutes). Add in your unsweetened cocoa powder, vanilla extract and sugar. Mix together until combined and creamy. 

  2. Let warm on the stove, stirring occasionally, for around 5 minutes. Once warmed, pour into your favorite mug. Top with lots of mini marshmallows if desired!
