These Cheesy Naan Breakfast Pizzas are everything you want for breakfast and more! They're loaded with cheese, crispy sausage, veggies and topped with a runny egg!
Preheat oven to 475 degrees.
Cook your breakfast sausage in a skillet until done. Dice red onion and jalapeno. Set aside.
Add naan bread to a baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil on top. Add 1/3 cup of cheese and spread it across the naan. Add on the sausage, diced red onion and jalapeno. Leave a small hole in the middle of the crust for the egg. Crack the egg in the middle of the naan. Sprinkle on remaining 1/3 cup of Italian cheese (be sure not to cover the egg!). Add a sprinkle of salt on top of the egg yolk.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until whites of egg have cooked through. Garnish with crushed red pepper flakes and fresh basil if desired. Enjoy immediately!
Even though my sausage was fully cooked, I did saute it for a few minutes in a pan prior to putting it on the pizza for further caramelization. You don't have to do this - just wanted to be transparent :)
