But first, let’s talk about this Maple Pumpkin Cream Cheese Dip!

Why This Dip is Amazing:

I really love this recipe in particular because it’s incredibly versatile and simple!

For instance, you can whip this dip up and make a big appetizer board out of it. Or make it for a midday snack when everything has been in the oven for hours and you just can’t wait to eat until dinner. Ha!

Or, whip it up for when you’re so full from the 5 course Thanksgiving dinner that you can’t even fathom the thoughts of pie so you want something a little bit lighter.

Or lastly, you could make it if you find out last minute that you have to make something for Thanksgiving day and you totally weren’t expecting it – this is SO quick and simple to whip up!

Whatever the situation, I know this dip is the dish for you!

First off, I love how this Maple Pumpkin Dip isn’t overly sweet! Thanks to the Tillamook Farmstyle Cream Cheese Spread, it has a delicious tanginess to it that helps balance out the sweetness that you get from the maple syrup and powdered sugar.

Speaking of sweetness, I love the pure maple syrup that you use to help sweeten this dip. When you combine the real maple syrup + maple extract, you get the most wonderful flavor that pairs perfectly with the pumpkin!

This dip is so lusciously smooth and creamy – it makes the perfect canvas to dip all of your favorite Fall treats in! It’s never overly thick or thin but the perfect texture. Seriously, you’re gonna want to eat this by the spoonful!

Lastly, I adore this dip due to the pumpkin flavor! Believe me, I love anything and everything pumpkin during the Fall – and for this particular recipe, the taste of real pumpkin shines through. You use pumpkin puree (not the pumpkin pie mix!) and it lends to the most amazing pumpkin spiced flavor! It tastes like Fall in a dip!

So let’s get into how to make it!

Ingredients You Need:

  • Tillamook Farmstyle Cream Cheese Spread
  • Pumpkin Puree
  • Maple Syrup
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Maple Extract
  • Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • Favorite Fall treats to dip in the dip!

Best Dip Making Tips:

Thankfully this dip is incredibly simple, but there were a few tips that I wanted to share that made it even more easy to whip up.

First, make sure your Tillamook Farmstyle Cream Cheese Spread is room temperature. This will ensure that it will be easily creamed when you begin whipping it. You don’t need to leave it out overnight or anything, just a simple even 20 minutes before you prepare the dip should work fine.

Speaking of creaming, I would recommend adding the softened cream cheese spread to a bowl and giving it a mix with either a handheld mixer or a stand mixer. It just needs to become light and fluffy!

From there, add in your powdered sugar and cream together with the cream cheese spread until it’s light and fluffy. The powdered sugar really helps make it extra smooth.

Next, you simply add in the maple syrup, the pumpkin puree, maple extract and pumpkin pie spice. Mix together until fully combined and smooth.

Taste and adjust the seasoning to your liking – you can always add a dash more maple syrup or a pinch more of pumpkin pie spice if you’d like!

I really enjoyed adding some pecans on top as well as a pinch of pumpkin pie spice – it looks beautiful! Almost too pretty to eat…almost! 😉

How to Build Your Board:

This dip is SO fun to feature on a fun Fall treat board. Here are a few ideas of what you should add to yours:

Pretzels or butter crackers – we all know that salty sweet combinations are always a winner!

Ginger Snaps – the spiciness of the ginger snaps add amazing extra flavor!

Vanilla Wafers or Graham Crackers – If you’re looking for another cookie but don’t want the spiciness of the ginger, these are perfect for you!

Artisan crisps – I used Pumpkin Cranberry crisps that I found at my local store.

Apple slices – Of course, you must have apples to complete the board!

Overall, this dip is such a fun Thanksgiving treat to whip up and serve 🙂
