Grilled Peaches with Bourbon Whipped Cream is the ultimate Summer dessert! Sweet and ultra juicy peaches paired with whipped cream with a kick – it’s simple, flavorful and delicious!
You guysssss! My favorite season of the year is BACK – Peach season!! If you didn’t know from the copious amount of peach recipes on my blog like: Peach BBQ Chicken Pizza, Cinnamon Peach Bread, or my Peach Thyme Spritzer (among many more…), I love love love peaches. In fact, they are my favorite Summer fruit!
I love how naturally sweet they are, how the peach juice runs down your chin when you bite into it and how peaches just truly represent Summer and warm Sunny weather to me.
Why You’ll Love this Dessert:
First off, it’s SO EASY! If you’re having a fun Summer BBQ – this recipe is so simple!
For this particular recipe, I used my grill pan but you can absolutely throw these peaches onto the grill next to some cheeseburgers or grilled chicken for ease!
I love that it’s so quick to whip up as well. You can bring the bourbon whipped cream premade to the BBQ or make it in advance and YUM!
Speaking of that bourbon whipped cream…..oh my goodness, YUM! Is there anything better?! I swear, it’s not overly boozy whipped cream but truly just the perfect amount of kick and spice!
The peaches have those super flavorful grill marks on them and are SO juicy and just burst in your mouth with sweetness in each bite.
I love adding mint to garnish it for a freshness and truly – you just can’t get a better dessert! So let’s get into what you need for it!
Ingredients You Need:
- Fresh peaches
- Avocado oil (or any neutral high heat oil)
- Heavy Cream
- Bourbon
- Mint to garnish
- Cinnamon to garnish
Best Tips on Making this Dessert:
I recommend you start by making the bourbon whipped cream.
Start by taking the heavy cream and adding it to a medium bowl (or to a stand mixer) and using the mixer, mix it until stiff peaks form – it should take anywhere from 4-6 minutes depending on what speed you are using it on!
Add the bourbon into the whipped cream and mix it in using a rubber spatula. Place that in the fridge while you start on your peaches!
Slice the peaches in half and then remove the pit.
Using a brush, brush the avocado oil onto the peaches. Get the grill heated up – 350 degrees should work!
Place them oil side down on the grill and let them cook for 3-4 minutes. When they are in the grill pan and almost ready, brush them with a little more oil and then flip them when they have gotten softer and have those beautiful grill marks.
Remove to a plate when the peaches are done.
Add a healthy dollop of that incredibly delicious whipped cream to a bowl or plate and then add the peaches on top!
Garnish with fresh mint, a drizzle of honey if desired and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
I love adding the honey for extra natural sweetness and the cinnamon helps bring out the spice in the bourbon!
Enjoy every single bite as you chow down, my friends!
