I try not to make too many unrealistic goals as we step into a new year…however, one of my main goals is to create meals that are simple and delicious that don’t need a lot of prep time. And I certainly hit the jackpot with these ultra easy, super tasty Fruit and Pancake Skewers!

Listen y’all, I love homemade pancakes more than anyone…but we all know that takes TIME. And usually ends up making a MESS! Ha!
And with a ten month old baby scooting around, I need something fast and delicious for breakfast…in come these Poffitz!
This is a brand new product from my favorite, Jus-Rol! They are the fluffiest and cutest little pancake bites. Perfectly poppable for both kids AND adults!
For this recipe, I used their vanilla and chocolate flavors. They were so fluffy and I absolutely loved both flavors! The chocolate had a deep rich cocoa flavor throughout and you can’t go wrong with classic vanilla!
I love that they have different ways to prepare them. In a major rush? On the go? Microwave it is! They also have oven and air fryer options for preparing.
Each little pancake bite paired perfectly with the juicy berries and sweet banana! They’re the perfect everyday breakfast – not overly sweet or indulgent, just right!
These skewers are also just stunning! They would be the perfect spread to have at a baby shower, bridal shower, or any event you might be hosting! So let me tell you how to make these..
Ingredients You Need:
Jus-Rol Poffitz – one bag of vanilla, one chocolate – these are the MVP ingredients of these pancake skewers. Find them at Harris Teeter now along with all of the other Jus-Rol products!
Fruit of Choice – I used ripe strawberries, blackberries and banana
Maple Syrup, Honey, Powdered Sugar – optional! These pancake bites really taste perfect on their own, but if you want to serve with maple syrup, honey or powdered sugar, feel free!
How to Make Pancake Skewers in 3 Simple Steps:
- Slice the fruit of your choice to be able to fit onto the bamboo skewers. Set aside.
- Cook the Poffitz either in the microwave, oven or airfryer. For ultra simplicity, I cooked mine in the microwave! Let them cool for a minute or two on the plate.
- Grab bamboo skewers and layer the pancake bites and sliced fruit. Repeat until ingredients are gone. Serve and enjoy!
Best Tips for Success:
Make sure your fruit slices aren’t too thick or thin – you want them to be the perfect width to fit onto the skewer!
Make sure that you get appetizer skewers that are long enough! I found that normal toothpicks weren’t long enough. You want to be able to fit 2-3 pancake bites on each one as well as fruit. These are a great option! (affiliate link)
If you are planning to make this board ahead of time, brush the fruit with some lemon juice – it will help it maintain its freshness.
If you don’t want to bother with skewers, you can always just make a beautiful pancake board!
Grab a cutting board that you want to serve on, and simply layer the sliced fruit with the pancake bites. It’s stunning and even easier than the skewers!
What to Serve With:
These skewers are delicious just as they are, however, If you’re serving this for brunch and have extra time on the weekend, here are some ideas to serve these with
- Soft scrambled eggs
- Crispy bacon
- Sausage
- A variety of cheese
- Hot coffee
- Hot tea

Fruit and Pancake Skewers
These Fruit and Pancake Skewers are the ultimate simple and delightful breakfast! Not only are they stunning, thanks to Jus-Rol’s new Poffitz, they come together so quickly and taste SO yummy!
Ingredients
- 1 bag Vanilla Jus-Rol Poffitz
- 1 bag Chocolate Jus-Rol Poffitz
- Fruit of your choice, sliced to fit onto a skewer - I used blackberries, bananas and strawberries
- Powdered sugar/pure maple syrup - optional for serving
Instructions

Cook the Jus-Rol Poffitz according to package directions - for me, I cooked mine in the microwave, 6 poffitz at a time on a microwave safe plate for 30 seconds each. Let them cool.

Slice the fruit to be able to fit onto the skewers.

Grab your bamboo skewers and begin to assemble them. I made sure to fit 3 poffitz on each one with fruit in between.

Serve on a tray with additional fruit and enjoy!
